I LOVE THIS DECK!

This is so different from what we’re used to with decks (any decks), it just goes so far beyond expectations…  The card backs are AMAZING. They have RG inside of the Hamsa.  The details of this deck are astounding!

The deck shimmers, it shines, it speaks an exotic language and then you lay them out and boom! There’s your answer.

I love all of the examples in the booklet, and I especially love the addition of the four extra cards.  They just make sense and clear up what might be otherwise muddy answers in your readings. Rana was the first person I ever heard talking about using the Lenormand for Meduim and Spirit readings (or answers).  This (to me) opens up new and exciting ideas!

The card names are not written on the front of the cards in this deck, but you will clearly be able to tell what card you are looking at.  The card number is in the top left hand corner and the playing card is a center inset.  Notice, the four extra cards do not have playing cards.

I was mildly concerned that all of the beautiful gold details would come off when shuffling but, these are very well made and there has been no problem.  I’ve taken them all over with me, tucked in my bag and they’ve proven to be durable.

If you haven’t seen the interview  Arwen did with Rana you can see my post here: Arwen Talks Rana George

The Four Extra Cards:

37 Spirit: This card is for everyone who works with mediumship and the spirit world.

38 Incense Burner: This card is for those who work with incense, cleaning and clearing.

39 Bed: This card frees all of the other cards from the “sex” feature.  The Bed is the sex card.

40 Market: This frees all other cards from the “work” feature. It is the work card.

There is also an extra man and an extra woman card in the deck.  Two of them go nicely with the theme of this deck and the alternates are more modern.

There is a lot to love about this deck so treat it with respect and place it in a beautiful bag.  I have added my notes from the four extra cards to The Essential Lenormand book-yes, I wrote on the blank pages.  This gives me one book to use as a reference. Someday? I might translate all of my scribbles and notes into a giant journal but for now, The Essential Lenormand is my journal.
