Create Your Story with a Beautiful Deck and Guidebook
A love of books shines brightly in the creation of the Chronicles of Destiny. This deck and guidebook set is like having a never ending storybook at your fingertips. The card images are beautiful digital art creations that you can really “enter” and become part of the story that’s taking shape as the cards are turned over.
The cards have gilt edges that add to the richness of your experience. The guidebook is a portal into not only the art of storytelling but also, Cartomancy at its finest. The box that the cards and book come in also appears to be a book which is a nice touch as it can be added to your treasured books on your shelves.
Each card is numbered as a chapter with the sequence that corresponds with a continuing story in the guidebook to help you remember the card meanings.
Each chapter (card) in the book has a color image of the card and a short excerpt from the story. There is also a detailed card definition under the image and this is called The Moral of the Story.
I love the attention to detail in this deck as well as the flexibility it offers. I have only one “con” and that is that the font on the card front is difficult to read unless you’re really close to the card. With the full color guidebook you will be able to start reading with this deck right away; there are extra pages to write your notes. I especially love the Keywords at a Glance appendix that’s found on pages 160-167.
Recommended for book collectors, Cartomancers and those who want a beautiful oracle deck. Would also be a great tool for writers.
